| Reinstalling ShareFinder |
ShareFinder must be reinstalled under any of the following conditions:
It is not possible to simply copy the ShareFinder program and data files from one computer to another. This fails because important program configuration settings, stored in the registry, are not transferred to the new computer when you copy the program files. For the same reason it is not possible to move the program files onto a new hard drive if your existing computer is being upgraded. Furthermore, reinstalling the operating system (Windows) clears all the information in the registry. Thus in all of these circumstances it is necessary to reinstall ShareFinder from the original distribution to restore the configuration settings. Use the same license codes originally allocated when you purchased ShareFinder. |
