Getting Started with Sharenet

1. Download the historical database for Sharenet subscribers.
2. Fill out and submit the online application form.
3. Install the historical database by double-clicking the file you downloaded (db1-xxxx.exe).
4. The first time you download, you will be required to enter your username and password, which was allocated by Sharenet when you subscribed.

Downloading

1. If necessary, connect to the Internet in your usual manner.
2. Double-click the "Sharenet Download Service" icon on the desktop or in the Start menu under "ShareFinder".
3. Click the "Download" button to begin downloading all outstanding data, or type the date(s) you require.
4. When the download is complete, start ShareFinder by double-clicking the appropriate icon.
5. ShareFinder will report that there are new data files waiting to be processed, and will proceed to update its database.
