The purpose of the ShareFinder Professional is to significantly add to the analytical tools at your disposal in order to assist you to make more carefully considered and hopefully more profitable investment decisions.

ShareFinder Professional combines all the features of both the Trader and the Royals modules since it has become increasingly clear to us that in order to make intelligent share timing decisions, you really do need both. Furthermore, the Professional Database includes all the available historic share price and volume data dating back in some cases as far as 1985, which makes for a far more reliable and accurate approach to cycle-based analysis than is possible with the standard 2.5 year database.

The principal features of the new Sharefinder Professional are:

• The long and short-term fixed graph window analyses have been enhanced both in layout and screen readability and by the inclusion of a permanent Volatility indicator.

• A 12-month projection of the long-term analysis window. You will see a Fourier projection of the share price as well as of the Mass, Velocity and Volatility Indicators. This projection can, furthermore, be projected much further into the future if you so desire.

• Enhancement of the Fundamental List display by the addition of a "Quick Index" together with Interim growth rates, return on capital employed, capital return trend, Average annual price volatility and the Price volatility trend.

• Downloaded optimum parameters for all technical analysis indicators in respect of each share they are applied to. This dynamic list of parameters will be updated each week together with the updating of the fundamental information: more frequently than weekly where company reports warrant it.

• Logarithmic scaling of graphs.

• Automatic trend-line drawing by the "Least Squares Fit" approach which facilitates the creation of underpriced/overpriced graphs and allows you to read off the long-term compound annual average price growth trend of all securities.

• An autorun facility which will guide the user through a set of predetermined graph sequences and have the facility to memorise the users' own sequence of graphs together with his own unique indicator parameters.

• An enhanced help facility which will open discussion documents on each technical indicator.

• An improved method of displaying graphs including automatic fitting, user editing etc and allied to a quick zooming feature, this is a great improvement on the previous modules.

Upgrade information

ShareFinder professional incorporates all the features of ShareFinder 5's Royals and Trader components in a single package. When upgrading to the Professional, existing users will receive a credit for the components they have already purchased, thus the upgrade could cost as little as R3000 (January 2008).
