The InvestorData Download Service is an email-based service operated
by
InvestorData CC.
InvestorData sends daily price updates in a Zip file attached to an email message. To update ShareFinder, the user saves the Zip file into a predetermined directory on his computer, from where ShareFinder loads the new data into its database.

How to use this service with ShareFinder InvestorData can only assist with matters relating to their download service. For help with your ShareFinder program, please contact Richard Cluver Investment Services or your nearest ShareFinder agent. |
A subscription to the InvestorData service costs R1840 per year or R150 per month for private investors. This amount should be paid directly to InvestorData; payment may be by cheque, bank deposit, debit order or credit card.
If you have an existing subscription for another program, you can add the ShareFinder data at no extra cost. InvestorData is currently able to supply downloads for Indexia, Trac, SurEquity, MetaStock, OmniTrader, SuperCharts, Pattern Smasher and any other program that supports the MetaStock download format. Please use the above application form, and indicate your existing subscription in the appropriate place.
What to do if you miss a day
It is possible, though unusual, for email to go astray before it
reaches your mailbox. If this happens, you may request a resend of the
missing days from info
Extended absence
Some Internet providers limit the amount of email they will store for you. If you will be away for an extended period, notify InvestorData before you leave and ask for your subscription to be suspended to prevent the daily mailings from filling up your mailbox. On your return, resume your subscription and ask for the missing days to be forwarded.
