Sharefinder 5 Changelog

To apply an upgrade to ShareFinder, simply download the Upgrade install file from our downloads section, then once the download is complete, double click the file to begin the upgrade process.

With the addition of an internal fundamental database for ShareFinder, only the first upgrade you apply from 5E15 onwards will require the upgrade supplement file from the downloads page to populate the fundamental database. It is not necessary to apply another upgrade supplement after the first, although you can use the supplement to refresh your fundamental database if you do.

Download the supplement for your data provider (idata.sfu for InvestorData, sharenet.sfu for Sharenet) into your database update folder (C:\ID or C:\SNET) in order to process it. Further updates will be delivered via our supplemental data service.

Note: Ensure the upgrade supplement file is saved with .sfu at the end of the file name and not .zip, and if a “File Type” is mentioned anywhere as part of the Save window, that it specifies either “All Files” or “.sfu document”. ShareFinder will not process the file if it is saved as a zip file.
